You guys like playing games on your iPhone or iPod touch but sometimes get annoyed for your fingers getting in the way of the screen well there is a solution on the way its the iJoyPad. This game pad appeared on French website “Nowhere Else” which shows a demo video of this product. But this product isn’t that new because the creator presented it in September 2008 now is actually demonstrated the product.

3.0.1 Still Jailbroken with same software

Apple recently came out with the latest software update 3.0.1 which is the update before 3.1. This software came out to get rid of the SMS bug. But you probably didn’t know that 3.0.1 can still be jailbroken with redsnow v0.8. Your probably thinking “HOW” well because 3.0.1 has basically the same coding as 3.0 it jailbreaks it the only thing that changed in 3.0.1 was a code that was just to stop the SMS bug and that code is not touched by redsnow. The only thing different you have to do while jailbreaking is when it asks to identifiy IPSW you don’t chose 3.0.1 you chose 3.0. SO guys don’t worry you don’t have to wait for any new software to jailbreak.

Now you can get the new 3.0.1 by just plugging your iPhone and clicking Update and your done but I wouldn’t recommend updating right now because there’s no Jailbrake or unlock for it so just wait a bit till the Dev Team updates Redsn0w to work with the new update.

Do you want to be able to type without the iPhone keyboard?, well now there`s a way to do so, with iDitDahText, which is a keyboard alternative for the iPhone and iPod touch , you type letters by just tapping on the dual lever touch paddle, at first may be confusing, because you will have to memorized all the tap combinations to be able to write faster than you will normally do with the iPhone`s Keyboard, for example to type an “A” the user would have to tap on the left follow by a tap on the right(sounds confusing I know)you can find the app iDitDahText at Cydia for only $1.99.

Two hackers, Collin Mulliner and Charlie Miller have claim to find a way to hack your iPhone by just sending a simple SMS to the phone, with this hack anyone can completely control your iPhone for example they can see all your calls,take photos,see what you been duing on the web and more, the hacker`s have also claim of informing Apple but Apple has not release any firmware updates that disable the Hack. So if you get a single square character text message you may want to put your phone in Airplane Mode or shut it down before someone steals your information with this simple hack.

MobileMe app “iDisk” Finally Released

Guys it’s finally here after a few weeks of waiting it’s here the MobileMe app “iDisk”. After apple had announced a MobileMe app last month at WWDC we would’ve thought the app would be released soon but it took a few more weeks befor actually hitting the app store. The MobileMe software was renewed with some added features for example (finding your iphone, and also having the ability to erase any data via the internet without having your iPhone with you).
This app allows it’s members to easily be able to browse and view any of the files stored in “iDisk”. They can also send their files via integrated e-mail links.

“BossPaper”

A new BETA app has been released by Big Boss called “BossPaper”. This app is almost an alternative to winterboard. It allow’s rotation of pictures without Javascript using a variety of transitions. It’s much easier on performance compared to Javascript rotation on winterboard.

With BossPaper you won’t have to worry about your iPod or iPhone getting it’s battery drained because of an image rotating even while your iPod/iPhone is locked.BossPaper also stops any rotating image from running when you open an app which means less battery and cpu drainage, and uses a very small amount of memory and CPU which is very good so that you don’t lag while using any other app’s.

This is only a BETA version so there are a few features missing from the current BETA…

1) Ability to select a single image. If you want a single image make a folder with that image for now.

2) Ability to exclude a single image or images. For now you have to delete it off the folder. In future you will have a way to tell it to not load that image again.

3) Photos – Camera roll is working because these are photos. If you sync pictures using iTunes, these are actually no longer images but an sqllite database of images. Therefore, you cannot use these images. (I haven’t tested this very much. So it could be in accurate).

4) I may examine lock background as well, although I am worried about performance. The lock background should be stationary so that you dont drain your battery while locked. I will think about this more.

If you are a user of Google Voice than you will defenetly like the GV Mobile app found at Cydia this app let’s google voice user do:

dial numbers via the iPhone address book or typing on the keypad
Full SMS support (view historic, reply, send new)
retrieve and delete recent call history
playback and delete voicemails
take calls from different phones other than your iPhone
enable or disable the phones that Google Voice forwards calls to
add or delete phones that Google Voice forwards call to.
